We might try once more and order dim sum, on a weekday, after 1PM. She was kind enough to give us the dim sum menu to take home. As we were eating we noticed a table receiving many small dish items, a waitress(not our waiter) saw us looking and asked if we wanted to order off the dim sum menu, of course it was too late, we were already eating. My husband had a chicken and vegetable dish with rice that was rather inconsistent as far as the temperature of the vegetables, some were very cold and others were scalding hot. The taste of the dish was delicious, that being said, the shrimp were "mushy", beef very odd consistency as if it were over tenderized and the vegetables luke warm at best when the rest of the dish was very hot. I had a noodle dish with beef, chicken and shrimp with stir fried vegetables. We both ordered from the lunch special menu, which is a very good deal because it includes rice and a soft drink or tea for a very reasonable price. We felt rushed to order even though there was no one waiting for a table. We sat down and were immediately brought a lunch special menu and a menu with about 12 pages of different dishes, we were never offered a dim sum menu, so I assumed(I know, never assume, inquire first) that dim sum was not available. My husband and I ate lunch here today and after all of the reviews, I was somewhat disappointed. We went for lunch about 12:45 PM and only waited about 10 minutes. All in all, if you're a Dim Sum lover it's worth the minor inconveniences which hopefully will be rectified. Waiter arrived immediately we sat down, tea served immediately after ordering, and bill presented quickly. We found the staff to be attentive apart from that and friendly. They need more carts to be moving around continuously and not always starting at the same spot because they'd run out of many dishes when they got to us in the back corner and we had to point that out to a waiter who then did direct them to us earlier. A couple of hot dishes were not on a heated cart and cold by the time they reached us (e.g. ![]() (at 12.30) to be seated and noticed many tables for 4 had only 2 people, so they'd have a quicker turnover and less wait time with some 2-ers. ![]() There are no tables for 2 and we had to wait 20 mins. ![]() A few things need to be tweaked for a better experience so I hope Management read these reviews. On weekend lunchtimes they serve it traditionally, by cart. We had six dishes and tea and a $24 bill. The interior is not very attractive with no decoration of any kind but the Dim Sum was pretty good and reasonably priced. We've always had to go to Tampa for our Dim Sum fix, so thrilled to hear about this place opening. Email:, For more foodie fun, join the Let’s Eat, Orlando Facebook group. Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce ($12.95), another kitchen special, was crunchy, green relief from the weight of dim sum’s delightful indulgences. The steamed stuffed eggplant roll ($7.25) was light on eggplant, which serves as a delicate wrapper, but super heavy on shrimp - which could be a bonus. It adds up quickly here, but man, is it good. ![]() Sliced fish congee, Chinese broccoli, chow fun, duck and deep-fried pork dumplings. Prices here are, well, on the pricy side, but not terribly so considering the space, the general cost of things these days and the neighborhood. The noise level was lively as the room filled, much like the activity at my table, where the plates arrived in gentle waves that came closer together as the meal moved along. YH is definitely the stuff of dates and special occasions, though lunchtime dim sum in the main room still feels posh, even amid large tables filled with casually dressed visiting families and badge-donning convention goers. I didn’t partake but would in the future. That night we sat in the smaller room, where an elegant bar encourages exploration of the cocktail menu.
